What started out as a personal search turned into growing business.

We have always been disappointed in both the quality and the price of pearls and pearl jewelry in local jewelry stores. All the pearl strands that we had looked at for years were dull, not round and often had pits. Not only this, but all of them they were so expensive. We thought surely there had to be better quality pearls available in this day and age. Surely we did not need to pay $6,000 and up from exclusive jewelers in New York or California to find the quality we wanted.

After researching the process of culturing pearls, we were surprised but not entirely shocked at the sheer number of distributors, resellers and others that a single pearl will pass through on its way to your home. Starting at the pearl farm a single pearl can pass through buyers, wholesalers, distributors, importers, manufacturers, retailers and more until it finally lands in the hands of the customer. With each person in this chain increasing the price up to 100%, this often pushes the price of pearl jewelry out of reach for most people.

We though that if we could buy as close to the origin of the pearl as possible, we could finally get the quality of pearl that we were looking for and at a price that was reasonable. What we found was amazing! We found breathtaking pearls that were not just reasonable in price, but absurdly less than what was available from the exclusive jewelers. We even found pearls that were rarely even talked about, much less available, from those same jewelry stores.

As our friends and our family started asking questions about the pearls we had found (questions like "Where did you get THOSE?" and "Where can I get them?"), we realized that we could help others own the same high quality pearls at a price they could afford. Pearls that would turn heads, pearls they could pass down to their children, luxurious pearls, pearls that would appraise for as much as 5 times what they paid.

As our "business" grew, we grew also. Today we are able to source our own pearls, bypass all the middlemen and using today's technology, offer them to you as prices far below what you will pay in a retail store. We have also become very choosy in what we offer. By sourcing our own pearls we are able to offer only the top 3% of the pearl harvest each year. This means that we carry only the best (AA+ and AAA quality) pearls - nothing less.
